Sera from 6 UVB-treated and 5 Sham-treated mice were harvested 90 min after irradiation and pooled together (condition-dependent) and added for 2 h at 0.1% by volume to cultures of normal mouse splenocytes treated either with PBS or anti-CD3e MoAb in triplicates and incubated for 48 additional hours.
