Ecdysone responsive HEK 293 cells were incubated either without or with 1 μM ponA to induce expression of the VPS4WT-GFP and VPS4EQ-GFP proteins. After 24 h, the cells were infected with HPV-16, BPV-1 or MCPyV PsVs carrying a luciferase reporter plasmid. After 24 h the cells were harvested and luciferase activity assayed in triplicate by luminometry. The graphs are from at least three independent experiments and the means with standard deviations are shown. Panel B.
