Rates of progression of soft rot symptoms in ATRBOHD NADPH oxidase deficient genotypes. A single leaf per plant was inoculated with a 5 μL drop of 10⁴ cfu ml^-1 bacterial WT strain (3937) suspension onto a needle wound. The number of plants scored for each genotype is indicated and corresponds to the sum of three independent experiments. Significance of the observed differences was established using the Fisher’s exact test (two sided p-value) (see Supplementary Table S1 for statistical values).
