Significant reduction in infarct volume at 72 h post stroke using 2% 2,3,5‐triphenyletrazolium chloride staining methods. Reduction was observed in both our murine transient middle cerebral artery occlusion models of (A) 30 min ischemic occlusion time and (B) 15 min ischemic occlusion time. Numbers indicate the number of mice that survived to 72 h in each experimental group.
