Metabolic turnover analysis of Epi WAT in DIO mice. Four-hour-fasted 12-week-old male mice were administered [13C6]glucose (0.2 mg/μl in saline, 1 mg/g of body weight) intraperitoneally. DIO group mice were fed a high-fat/high-sucrose diet from 8–12 weeks of age, whereas control group mice were fed regular diet (n = 6/each group). A, changes in plasma glucose levels.
