Figure 9A is based upon ratings of semiquantitative analysis of the extent of CD45 microglial immunoreactivity in Figure 9B. A nonsignificant trend for decreased inflammation in the cortex, as measured by CD45 immunoreactivity, is observed in MEL-treated mice following splenectomy at day 14 (Scale bar =100 µm).
