The dilatation of the small bowel as the only finding was observed in 38 patients, and in other 26 patients the tests revealed another compromised segment of the digestive tract, mainly the colon.

ā€œnā€ is corresponding number of patients with compromise in different segments of the digestive tract. The percentage corresponds to the number of patients with compromise in segment of the digestive tract of the number of patients diagnosed with chronic intestinal pseudo-obstruction (n = 64).
