Clinical nomogram for patients starting treatment for tuberculosis, estimating the probability of dying on treatment. Instruction for using the nomogram: Locate the patient’s age on the Age axis. Draw a straight vertical line up to the Points axis to determine how many points the age of the patient contribute towards the predicted probability of death during TB treatment. Repeat this process for BMI, status for HIV infection and clinical forms of tuberculosis. Sum the points from each of the predictor to get the total points. Locate the patient’s total points on the Total points axis. Draw a straight line down to the Risk of death axis to determine the probability of dying during treatment for that patient. The risk of death is provided as a proportion and should be multiplied by 100 to obtain the value in percentage
