B) Fourier-Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectra of 1.3 eV bandgap PbS QDs dropcast from hexane (black traces) and then soaked for 2 hours in 10 mM metal halide in N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) (red traces). The peak at 1640 cm⁻¹ is attributed to residual DMF that can be removed with heating and/or placing the film under vacuum.
