The effects of BMA-155Cl on various human hepatocellular carcinoma cells (HepG-2, SMMC-7721, Plc-prf-5) and normal hepatic cells (LX-2, HL7702) were examined by MTT assay. The cells were treated with various concentrations of BMA-155Cl for 72, 48, and 24 h. The IC50 values of BMA-155Cl were then calculated.
