(A) Cells were transfected with PTEN siRNA, then cells were treated with or without selenite for 24 hours, and the expression levels of cyclin A, cyclin B, cleaved-PARP, PTEN, GLS1 and cleaved-Caspase 9 were detected using western blotting. B-actin was used as a loading control. (B) Cells were transfected with wild-type PTEN plasmid, then CRC cells were treated with or without selenite for 24 hours, and detection of cyclin A, cyclin B, cleaved-PARP, PTEN, GLS1 and cleaved-Caspase 9 was performed by western blotting.
