Immunized mice were challenged IVAG with 107 PFU of VV, and 5 days later, lymphocytes were isolated from individual ILNs and genital tracts. IFN-γ spot-forming cells (SFC) were enumerated in an IFN-γ ELISPOT assay with or without PHA or HIV-1 Ag stimulation.
