(A) Immortalized human podocytes were exposed to either vehicle alone (control) or increasing AMD3100 concentrations (0.01–1 μM; 5 days), in the absence or presence of linagliptin (1 nM), and cell growth was measured by a colorimetric assay. To set the Y axis, all data were normalized to the mean value of the control group (0%). Data are the mean ± SEM of five experiments run in triplicate for each experimental group. Combined effects were predicted by assuming Bliss independence.
