Notes: (A) HE micrograph of tumor slices from three different groups. Necrosis tissues and inflammatory cells were detected in group 1 but hardly seen in group 2 or 3. The scale bar represents 100 µm. (B) TUNEL micrograph of tumor slice from group 1. Multiple brown-stained cancer cells (TUNEL-positive cells) were observed in pancreatic tumor cells treated with irradiating by fiber directly inserting into tumor, indicating apoptosis.
