Effects of increasing concentrations of LBP on cellular uptake of R- and S-form LPS. CHO/CD14 (A and B) and CHO/vector cells (C and D) were incubated with 100 ng of R-form LPS/ml (BODIPY labeled [triangles]) or S-form LPS/ml (Oregon Green labeled [squares]) for 60 min in the absence (A and C) or presence (B and D) of 2% human serum and assayed for LPS uptake by flow cytometry. Experiments were performed twice with identical results, and one representative experiment is shown.
