Ovarian cancer cells were stably transfected with pcDNA3.1 or pcDNA3.1B-mRAD51 vector, and subjected to Western blot analysis of RAD51 protein level. (B) RAD51 overexpression attenuates the effect of combination artesunate with cisplatin. The results of 2 groups, which were transfected with pcDNA3.1 or pcDNA3.1B-mRAD51 treated by artesunate combination with cisplatin were compared (P < 0.05).
