A HFD decreased FAS (Figure 6A, P < .05), increased PPARα (P < .05), SREBP1 (Figure 6C, P < .05), and SREBP-2 (P < .05) but did not change the ATGL and HSL level in rat liver tissues compared with a regular diet (Figure 6, B and D). T replacement in castrated rats did not change FAS, PPARα, SREBP-1, SREBP-2, ATGL, or HSL expression in rat liver compared with castrated rats fed a HFD (Figure 6, E–H).
