KAT-18 cells transfected with pcDNA3.1 or pcDNA/Gli1 (A and B) or transfected with Ctr-miRNA, Shh-miRNA 658, or Gli1-miRNA 1519 expression vector (C) were seeded in six-well plates (1 × 10⁴ cells/well) and irradiated (10 Gy). Cells were stained 2 weeks later with crystal violet. D, After being rinsed in the running water, the staining of crystal violet dye was dissolved in 1 mL methanol and read at OD595. The data represent the mean ± SD from one experiment in triplicate.
