Effects of BFE on CCl4-induced liver injury. (a and b) Plasma alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) activities. ICR mice (n = 5/group) were treated with BFE (30 or 100 mg/kg/day, p.o., for 4 days). On day 4, the mice were injected with CCl4 (0.5 mL/kg/day, i.p.) 1 h after treatment with BFE.
