Case 2. Hematoxylin-eosin staining of the lateral rectus muscle biopsy reveals multiple noncaseating granulomas (arrowheads; magnification, 20x) in the absence of microorganisms (images not shown) and foreign bodies (image not shown), strongly suggestive of orbital sarcoidosis.
