Basal respiration rate (J_R), non-phosphorylating respiration rate (J_TET), uncoupled respiration rate (J_MAX) and net respiration (netR = J_R - J_TET). Substrates and inhibitors used in the measurements of the respiratory parameters are detailed in the text. Day 0, diauxic shift. Data refer to mean values determined in three independent experiments with three technical replicates each. SD is indicated.
