(A) Average prepulse inhibition (PPI) across all four PP intensities was significantly higher in 5-HT1A knockout (KO) females compared to wild-type (WT) females. There was no difference in PPI between any groups in male mice. (B) Average startle responses across all four startle blocks were significantly lower in female 5-HT1A KO mice compared to WT, and higher in female Meth pretreated compared to saline pretreated mice.
