Cerebral cortical or striatal synaptic particles in adult targeted-replacement (TR) mice homozygous for APOE3/3 or APOE4/4. A: Cerebral cortex and striatum percentage particles +SERT varies significantly by region (P < 0.0001) and by TR APOE genotype (P < 0.01). Corrected multiple paired comparisons for percentage particles +SERT show significance for striatum but are not significant in cerebral cortex.
