AT-QD conjugates were inoculated into the hemocoel of An. albimanus (A) and Ae. aegypti (B). After 2 h, abdomens were dissected, fixed and analyzed by epi-fluorescence microscopy. The label showed a pattern of micro vesicular distribution, and was more evident on hemocyte surfaces (arrows) Cells with long pseudopodia projections (arrow heads) were observed in hemocytes attached to abdominal pleural membranes.
