Top: The distribution is computed for all sterol molecules of sterol-lipid-aLAX(16) bilayers containing 40 mol% cholesterol (black) and 40 mol% 6-kc (red). Bottom: The distribution is computed for the largest clusters of sterol molecules. The largest cluster size for cholesterol molecules was 3, and for 6-kc it was 4. The number of molecules included in the first peak of the RDF determines the cluster size.
