Figure 4

Median heart end-systolic volume of normal and affected treated Dachshunds between 12 and 17 months of age. Over this age range, the median end-systolic volume of the affected dogs was higher than that of the normal dogs at every age assessed. Comparison of the data using the Mann-Whitney rank-sum test indicated that the end-systolic volume in the affected treated dogs was significantly higher than in the normal dogs over this age range (P<0.01).
