Real-time RT-PCR analysis of osteogenic gene expression. The expressions of osteogenic genes in HPL cells with the application of continuous tensile strain at strengths of 15% were examined by real-time RT-PCR. Gene expression was calibrated using the GAPDH housekeeping gene, and values indicating the fold-change from control are shown. The expression of RUNX2 (A) and OPN (B) mRNA are shown.
