(A) PBREM sequences are conserved in the mouse (Cyp2b10), rat (CYP2B1 and CYP2B2), and human (CYP2B6) genes (Sueyoshi et al., 1999). NR1 and NR2 denote nuclear receptor binding sites 1 and 2, respectively, and NF1 denotes nuclear factor 1. A response element in the human CYP3A4 promoter was reported as ER6, which can also be DR4.
