Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections (4 μm) from the pancreas head, body, and tail regions were stained by four-color immunohistochemistry for insulin (purple), glucagon (yellow), CD3 (blue), and Ki67 (black). Numerous insulin⁺glucagon⁺ islets, some large, were present as seen in a representative whole-tissue cross-section (A).
