Figure 4. TPP conjugation to PLGA:PLGA-NH2 particles.

Figure 4

(A) Schematic of particles with and without TPP conjugation (PLGA:PLGA-NH2 and TPP-PLGA:PLGA-NH2) and incubated with fluorescamine. (B) Mean fluorescence intensity (MFI) obtained from particles treated with/without fluorescamine as indicated. PLGA:PLGA-NH2, 50:50 = particles made from a mixture of PLGA and PLGA-NH2 at the ratio of 50:50; TPP-PLGA:PLGA-NH2, 50:50 = TPP-conjugated particles made from a mixture of PLGA and PLGA-NH2 at the ratio of 50:50; PLGA:PLGA-NH2, 100:0 = particles made purely from PLGA with no amine functionalization. Green light bulbs represent fluorescamine. Data are expressed as scatter plots (n = 3 – 7). One-way analysis of variance with Bonferroni’s multiple comparisons test was performed. ***p < 0.001, *p < 0.05.
