The expression levels of EBP50 gradually decreased, corresponding with a reduction in the differentiation degree, in extrahepatic bile duct carcinoma. Normal and extrahepatic bile duct carcinoma tissues underwent immunohistochemistry reactions with anti-EBP50 antibodies. The difference in EBP50 expression levels among normal and tumor tissues with varying differentiation degrees was evaluated using analysis of variance. EBP50, ezrin-radixin-moesin-binding phosphoprotein-50; Well, well differentiated; Mod, moderately differentiated; Poor, poorly differentiated. ***P=0.0003 between normal, well, mod and poor differentiation degrees.
