Inhibitory effect of nitric oxide (NO) production in RAW264.7 cells. (A) Inhibitory effect of NO production by aqueous fraction produced by solid fermentation of Ganoderma lucidum on Artemisia capillaris (afAc/Gl) in RAW264.7 cells. Cells were seeded at a concentration of 5×10⁴ cells/well in a 96-well plate. The cells were exposed to LPS and treated with the samples and incubated for 24 h. Griess reagent was used for the measurement of NO. (B) Inhibition of matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) expression in RAW264.7 cells by afAC/Gl. RAW264.7 cells were treated with sample extract (10 µg/ml) for 5 h, and then exposed to LPS (1 µg/ml) for 4 h. Relative intensity of the PCR band was calculated as described in the Materials and methods.
