Gender differences in histone-complexed DNA before and after 4 daily doses of 5 µg/kg body G-CSF. Although in male and in female subjects a significant increase in hc-DNA after single (day 2) or multiple (day 5) doses of G-CSF can be detected, a significant gender difference can be identified. Female subjects have significantly lower hc-DNA levels at the baseline, on day 2 and on day 5, compared to men. Presented data are means ± SEM
