CK is the “Shepody” non-transgenic potato cultivar; the rest are transgenic potato lines. Each value ± standard error was obtained from three runs of moderate and severe stress treatments with three replicates in each run. Within a column, a higher coefficient indicates higher drought tolerance and the different letters denote significant differences at P < 0.05.
