BL21AI strains containing the LLA Csm module plasmid encoding either the LLA crRNA or a novel crRNA targeting the heterologous target sequence (first column; LLA or HET) were challenged with LLA or HET target plasmids as indicated (second column; LLA or HET). Plasmid targeting assay was performed as in Fig 2. Representative results of 3 experiments are shown. Corresponding Csm modules and targets are indicated with green boxes.
