Activities of glutathione reductase and thioltransferase from the lenses of each group. NACA treatment in the NACA + Na₂SeO₃ group significantly decreased the glutathione reductase activity when compared to the glutathione reductase activity of Na₂SeO₃ group lenses. Although NACA increased the thioltransferase activity in NACA + Na₂SeO₃ group, it was not significantly higher when compared to the Na₂SeO₃ group. Statistical analysis was performed by one-way analysis of variance, followed by Tukey’s multiple comparison tests. *p < 0.05 compared to the control group and ^# p < 0.05 compared to the Na₂SeO₃ group.
