Survival in 46 elderly patients treated with radiation with or without chemotherapy. When the survival analysis was limited to elderly patients (65 years of age and older) who received radiotherapy, median survival was significantly longer for patients who received combined chemoradiotherapy than for those who underwent radiotherapy alone.
