Transcription of Casparian band (CB)-related genes in root zone 4–6 cm of WT, KO line 1B-14436 and OE line 3A-16329. The OE plants were grown in nutrient solution with low (–Si, 3 mg Si L-1) Si supply and KO grew in high (+Si, 30 mg L-1) Si supply. The RQ of corresponding WT (–Si /OE; +Si/KO) = 1.
