Thirty-day-old plants grown in hydroponic culture were subjected to moderate salinity (75 mM NaCl). Photosynthesis determinations were performed after 24 days. Photosynthetic rate (AN), stomatal conductance (gs), mesophyll conductance (gm), substomatal CO2 concentration (Ci), photorespiration rate (PR), effective (PhiPS2) and maximum (Fv/Fm) quantum yield of chlorophyll fluorescence of PSII, maximum carboxylation rate of Rubisco (Vc max), maximum electron rate (Jmax) and triose phosphate utilization rate (TPU) values in 35S::AtCDF3 (L 2.3) plants are presented. Each measure is the mean of ten independent measurements in different plants. Six different plants were used to perform A-Cc curves to obtain Vc max, Jmax and TPU.
For each genotype and parameter, different letters indicate significant differences (P < 0.05). Significant differences among genotypes at a given condition are indicated by an asterisk.
