Relationship among ER binding, neuroprotective activity and lipid peroxidation among estrogens. All activities were categorized by ERα binding affinity and we observed a marked negative relationship between ERα binding and neuroprotection in 4 assays of neurotoxicity. GLUT indicated glutamate toxicity at 10 and 20 mM concentrations of glutamate. IAA indicated indolacetic acid at 20 and 40 mM concentrations (IAA).
