Glucocorticoid Regulation of 11β-HSD1 in A549 Cells Is Indirect and Dependent upon New Protein Synthesis

A, 11β-HSD1 mRNA levels were increased within 4 h of addition of 10−6 m dexamethasone to A549 cells and were maximal at 24 h.
