KEY TEACHING POINTS

  • Isoproterenol and quinidine sulfate seems highly effective in suppressing malignant arrhythmias in patients with early repolarization syndrome.

  • Radiofrequency catheter ablation doesn’t seem to be an effective treatment for this type of arrhythmia.

  • Ankyrin variants may be an underlying cause of early repolarization syndrome.
