Homer 1a regulates group I mGluRs in traumatic injury. Mice cortical neuronal cultures were transfected with different lentiviruses. After transfection, the neuronal cultures were pretreated with (RS)-1-aminoindan-1,5-dicarboxylic acid (AIDA) (100 μM) (ac), (2S)-2-amino-2-[(1S,2S)-2-carboxycycloprop-1-yl]-3-(xanth-9-yl) propanoic acid (LY341495) (100 μM) (df), or (RS)-α-methylserine-O-phosphate (MSOP) (100 μM) (gi). Cell viability, cytotoxicity, and cell death rate were measured in neuronal cultures after traumatic injury. The data are represented as the mean±S.E.M. from five experiments.
