Behavioral tests for the assessment of functional deficits caused by hypoxia-ischemia (HI). (A) Cylinder, (B) accelerated rotarod, (C) hanging wire grip and (D) passive avoidance tests were performed and compared with each group (n=8). HI group rats exhibited severe functional deficits compared to the control rats, and deficits in accelerated rotarod and passive avoidance test were significantly attenuated by treadmill training and electroacupuncture (EA) treatment.
