Schematic representation for the green synthesis of CSS-Ag NPs. CSS was synthesized by the conjugation of bio-inspired catechol to chitosan through EDC chemistry procedure. As a stabilizing and reducing agent, CSS was added into Ag NO₃ solution to prepare CSS-Ag NPs.
