In the group receiving DEN only (black triangles), the mean time to hepatic neoplasia (i.e., hepatic adenoma or hepatocellular carcinoma) was 27.65 ± 2.07 months (black square) with a range of 25.26–28.98 months. In the group receiving DEN + partial liver embolization (black diamonds), the mean time to hepatic neoplasia was 15.97 ± 1.28 months (black square) with a range of 14.49–16.72 months.
