notation denotes the values are adjusted for the sensitivity analysis. Through the thickness of the skin varied with many conditions, but the generally the total thickness is thought to be 1.5 mm (Kuhn et al., 2009a). Consequently the thickness of the dermis is determined by the stratum corneum and epidermis thicknesses and the whole skin thickness.
