The feces (about 0.05 g) were suspended in the autoclaved broth and diluted serially and spread onto selective agar plate, and then incubated in an anaerobic chamber. The bacterial colonies were counted and calculated, and expressed as log colony forming unit (CFU)/g feces. Data were means ± SD and analyzed using one-way ANOVA, followed by the post hoc Tukey’s test for comparisons. Values not sharing the same alphabetic letter were significantly different (P < 0.05)
