Figure 1. — Hormesis room. The room is constructed using natural monazite excavated from a mountainous area in Japan. The average radiation level is 11 μGy/h at any point inside the room, even at a distance of 30 cm from the wall. The average concentration of radon is 9800 Bq/m³.
