Mitotic progression of S2 cells co-depleted of PP1-87B and Mps1 co-expressing mCherry-α-Tubulin (red) and Mad1-EGFP (green) was monitored by spinning disk confocal microscopy. Video illustrates that Mps1 depletion abolishes the prolonged metaphase delay and Mad1-EGFP accumulation at bioriented kinetochores observed in PP1-87B depleted cells. Each frame represents a maximal intensity projection acquired every 60 s. NEB corresponds to time 0:0. Time is shown minutes.
